One opportunity leads directly to another, just as risk leads to more risk, life to more life, and death to more death.”

Really thought-provoking video. Why is it that we excel in things we love doing…mostly for free…instead of our job that we get money for accomplishing goals? Obviously is has to do with mastery, purpose, and self-direction. We love what we do, so we keep doing it….no matter how much money comes our way because that’s just a result of our actions. You make a difference in what you love to do because YOU LOVE TO DO IT. Usually you have a healthy obsession, which seems paradoxical, but it’s not.

What has motivated me to make over 100 DVDs of myself doing things in my life? I don’t know. I just love remembering things and sharing my experiences. What makes me love fishing so much? You just SIT THERE for hours and sometimes catch nothing. No…it’s more than that. You’re out in the world and every experience is unique.

Why do you do what you do?

Set aside some time to think about this..

I’m telling you, the small things go a long way. Just watch how one mall rewards simple honesty for returning a misplaced item. They do it in big ways and surprise the people that probably make use of honesty daily.

Think about it. If you can do the small things right, you can cause big positive change. =)
