Being genuinely interested is what brings you from ordinary to extraordinary any of your relationships. This can be relationships with people, places, hobbies, opportunities, passions, nature, and most importantly yourself.
Think about it. Why do you do what you do? In a way, immensely interested people are more interesting.
Now do you grasp why being interested can be more important than being interesting?

Today’s Focused Thought - Patience

Patience doesn’t mean you’re sitting there doing nothing until something amazing happens!

It means you’re doing what you need to do until your opportunity arises. You must be open to each moment and realize that some things must enfold in their own time.

There is a reason the butterfly must struggle to exit the cocoon. Without that fight and patience, it would not have the strength to spread its wings and fly.

Are you going to hinder your wings and your own potential with shortcuts?
